Horticulture students from Warrensburg-Latham High School participated in a First Green field trip at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur, Ill. GCSAA Class A member and Central Illinois GCSA president, Brett Oxley, hosted the field trip. The students learned about grass types, the equipment used to maintain the golf course and had a soil lesson. Check out this clip from a local news station here.
